Overall Review

For the advert the first thing I added was the dialogue for Iggy and Little Iggy, taking a H2 ZOOM and going to a practise room and recording Zac's voice for the dialogue and then syncing this up with the lip movement of the characters in the video. Unfortunately when it came to the editing stage my dialogue, because it was recorded on two seperate days, sounds quiet for the first few recordings and then much louder in the other half, I attempted to adjust the audio with effects, altering the tone and adding distortion but this resulted in all of it being changed, making it sound even worse and hard to understand. After this I started on the soundtrack, giving it a bassline and adding drums when appropriate, zooming into the timeline as much as possible to make sure everything in timed well and given the right adjustments. After this I then started on the sound effects, I've used a car engine just going, a car engine revving and a car when it's in motion, for the car-related sounds that go in line with the visuals, for example a car at the start in the background, I've used these sounds at the beginning. For the footsteps I've not been able to capture actual footsteps, so I've improvised by using a certain drum track that sounds like footsteps, I've also done this for the car door shutting and the suitcase slamming on the ground.
